Good Media Starts Before We Hit Record

From planning the shoot to delivering the final files, we keep production clear, collaborative, and professional.

Start with what the media needs to do

A ranch isn't shot like a home. A construction project isn't filmed like a finished commercial property. And a month of social content requires a different production plan than a single cinematic film.

That's why our process begins with the project—not a predetermined shot list.

We look at what we're capturing, who needs to see it, what needs to be communicated, and where the final media will be used.

Then we plan the production around it.

step one

plan: Tell us what you're working on

Every project starts with the basics: what we're shooting, where it's located, what media you need, your timeline, and how you plan to use the finished assets.

Depending on the project, we may also consider property access, weather, sunlight, aerial requirements, people on camera, construction schedules, shot priorities, and social formats.

The more we know going in, the better we can use shoot day.

step two

prep: We get the details in place

Before production, we'll confirm the shoot plan, timing, location, deliverables, and anything needed to make the day run smoothly.

For aerial work, we'll also review flight conditions, airspace, weather, and other requirements associated with professional commercial drone production. Skycrafted drone operations are conducted by FAA Part 107-certified professionals.

step three

Shoot: Cameras up. Drone up. Let's create

This is where the plan becomes the media.

Depending on the project, production may include professional photography, ground video, aerial photography and video, interviews, lifestyle footage, construction footage, vertical social content, or a combination of formats.

Our team captures with the final edit in mind so the footage works together—not as a collection of disconnected shots.

step four

Edit: The shoot gives us the pieces. Post-production brings them together

Photography is selected and professionally finished. Video is edited, paced, color-graded, and refined. Ground and aerial footage are combined. Social content is formatted for the platforms where it will live.

This is where raw media becomes Skycrafted media.

step five

Deliver: Ready when you are

Our standard property media turnaround is approximately 3–5 business days, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.

Final assets are delivered digitally and organized so you can put them to work across the appropriate channels.

Need a different timeline? Tell us during planning and we'll discuss what's possible.

LICENSING + USAGE

Photography and video are created for specific client and project uses.

Licensing and usage rights may vary depending on the scope of the production, intended platforms, advertising use, third-party use, or other commercial applications.

If you're unsure whether a particular use is included, ask us before the shoot. We'd rather make sure the appropriate usage is established from the beginning.

ONE PROCESS. A LOT OF POSSIBILITIES.

Land + Ranch. Residential. Commercial. Social + Content.

Photography. Film. Aerial.

Whatever we're creating, the goal is the same: a professional production, a clear process, and final media that's ready to do its job.
